Why is my AC running but not cooling?
Usually one of: low refrigerant (leak), dirty filter or coil blocking airflow, or a failed compressor / contactor / capacitor. A diagnostic visit narrows it down in 15–20 minutes.
How often should I tune up my AC?
Once a year, before peak season (April–May). $150ish for a tune-up vs. $1,000+ for a mid-July emergency call you could've prevented.
Is it worth repairing an old AC?
Rule of thumb: if the repair is over $500 AND the unit is 12+ years old AND uses R-22 refrigerant, replacement usually wins. We do the math with you.
