View allMassachusetts water varies a lot — some homes need a softener, some need iron removal, some need carbon for chlorine taste. We test first, then size the system to the actual problem.
Salt-based ion exchange softeners for hard water. Drops scale, makes soap actually lather, extends water-heater life by 50%.
Whole-home or point-of-use carbon for chlorine taste, chloramines, and many organic compounds. Common on town water.
For well water with red staining or a rotten-egg smell. Catalytic systems work without chemicals; aeration + filter for higher levels.
Under-sink RO for drinking and cooking water. Removes nearly everything — replaces bottled water.
Free in-home test for hardness, pH, iron, chlorine, TDS. Lab analysis if needed — we don't guess.
Sized to your water and your usage. We'll tell you if you don't actually need a system.
Bypass valves, isolation valves, drain line, electrical (where needed). Done so you can service it without calling us back.
Salt schedule, filter-change schedule, what to watch for. We send a reminder when it's time for service.
Manual J load calc on every install — most contractors skip it. Wrong size = short cycling, comfort issues, and 20% wasted fuel.
We're a registered Mass Save partner. Up to $10,000 in rebates on qualifying heat pumps and high-efficiency boilers — we file the paperwork.
Rob is a Master Plumber (MA #MP17629). He's on every install personally — not a sales rep, not a sub.
Our installs are diagrammed, labeled, and tidy. The next tech who walks in (even if it's not us) can service the system without guessing.
If your water tests above 7 grains per gallon hardness AND you have scale on fixtures or short water-heater life, yes. Below that, you might just need a carbon filter or nothing.
No. Salt-based softeners actually remove hardness ions. 'Salt-free conditioners' just keep ions in suspension and have mixed real-world results. We're honest about which one solves your problem.
Softener: $1,800–2,800 installed. Carbon: $1,200–2,000. Iron/sulfur: $2,500–4,500. RO under-sink: $600–1,200. We quote written after testing.
